Well, I forgot to show you photos from a visit on a sunny English afternoon to Flatford Mills, where John Constable painted some of his best-known works.
Don’t know the guy? Google him. He was an important English landscape painter. Even if you couldn’t care less about landscape painting, the area around Flatford Mills is beautiful and offers some excellent walks and canoeing.
I’m going to show a couple of Constable’s paintings and the same scene today. I think you’ll see the resemblance.
