There are three things to know about Allyn. First, Friday night is Prime Rib night at the very good Boat House restaurant. We were there on Friday, so yea for us!
Second, Allyn is the home of World Famous Big Bubba’s Burgers. They’re really big, they’re really good. Go there.
And finally, Allyn is home to them Bear in a Box chainsaw woodcarving school and shop. We met owners Diane and George many years ago while on a road trip. If you’ve seen our little yard art friend Rusty Mouse, this is where he came from.
